American Accident Fund Insurance Company is an American employee compensation insurance company headquartered in Lansing, Michigan. The company is a member of AF Group, the premier provider of innovative insurance solutions. An insurance policy may be issued by one of the following companies in AF Group: American Accident Insurance Company, National Insurance Company Accident Insurance, General Insurance Company Accident Insurance, Insurance Company United Wisconsin, Third Coastal Insurance Company, or CompWest Insurance Company.
The company is headed by Al Gileczek, president.

History
The Accident Fund was established as a state operation in 1912. It was purchased by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan in 1994.
In April 2011, the Accident Fund completed the rebuilding of Ottawa Street Power Station, an Art Deco landmark in Grand River in downtown Lansing, Michigan, as its new headquarters.
