Angela Rockwood is an American model and actress, best known for her role in The Fast and the Furious and the syndicated television series V.I.P.

Initial years
Rockwood is the oldest of four children of German-Thai descent and raised abroad in the Philippines, Spain, and Guam. At the age of 22, he moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles, to finish an art school and work with Michelle Bohbot and Bijan. He will then turn down the job as a composite sketch artist for LAPD, and instead receives modeling work for Michelle's designer Bisou Bisou.

Car crash
On September 3, 2001, Rockwood was involved in a car accident on Interstate 5 Highway California between San Francisco and Los Angeles. When they returned late from visiting his maid for his upcoming wedding to Dustin Nguyen, the driver (also one of his bridesmaids) lost control. The car veered violently across the street before hitting the stone face by the side of the road and flipped it several times before crashing into the safety fence and falling over the bank. Vietnamese actress Thuy Trang (27 years old) was tragically killed in the accident after she suffered a deep wound. And after being thrown out of the vehicle through the window before the final impact and survived; after suffering severe injuries, Rockwood was given a quadraplegic. The doctor gave him a 3% chance to regain his motor skills and feelings under his neck. Through physical therapy, he regains partial movement in his left index finger two months after the accident. Three months after the accident, he can touch the top of his head. In 2003, Rockwood received stem cell treatment in Portugal that enabled him to finally use a manual wheelchair.
Post-accident career
In 2012, The Sundance Channel announced the creation of the Push Girls series, a reality television series about life with Hollywood paralysis produced by Gay Rosenthal, who plays Rockwood among "four dynamic, vocal and beautiful ladies" in the Los Angeles area.
Personal life
Rockwood married actor Dustin Nguyen in February 2002. They split up and divorced in 2011.
