Kenneth J. Green (born July 23, 1958) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour, National Tour and Champions Tour. Green has won eleven tournaments as a pro, including five PGA Tour events. He is also known for returning to the competition after losing his right foot in a 2009 car accident.

Initial years
Green was born in Danbury, Connecticut. He started playing golf at the age of 12 in Honduras, where his father, Martin "Marty" Green, was the principal of the American school, and his only sporting option was golf or football. He quit school at the age of 16 to pursue his dream of becoming a professional tourist.

College career
He then attended the Palm Beach Junior College in Lake Worth, Florida for a year. He then received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he played for Buster Bishop coach and coach John Darr's Florida Gators golf team at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from 1977 to 1979. Green was the All- Southeastern Conference (SEC) second team in 1979.
Professional career
Green turned pro in 1979 and joined the PGA Tour in 1980. He has five tournament wins on the PGA Tour; All five came in the mid to late 1980s. His first victory came in 1985 at the Buick Open, and the last was at Kmart Greater Greensboro Open in 1989. His best year in professional golf was 1988, when he won two events on the PGA Tour, as well as Dunlop Phoenix in Japan. His best performance in the majors was his seventh place tie at the 1996 US Open. Green also played in the US team at the Ryder Cup in 1989.
During his time in professional golf, Green has had a reputation for rebellion and a tendency to attract action. He has had more than two dozen fine levied by the PGA Tour for his bratty child's antics. Some of his humor included sneaking his friends into The Masters in his car trunk, drinking beer on the field while playing with Arnold Palmer at the 1997 Masters, and hitting the golf ball through a narrow opening at the sliding glass door. Other fines are for more worldly offenses such as swearing on the field, criticizing officials, and signing autographs while playing. His personal problems - divorce, gambling, clinical depression - lead to financial ruin, and affect the playing time and quality of the game. In his 40s, Green had trouble defending his PGA Tour rights and was forced to play on the National Tour.
He occasionally plays a round of tournaments dressed in green from head to toe, including shoes.
Green has 508 careers starting on the PGA Tour, the last one coming in 2006. He continues to finish in a number of Champions Tour events.
Personal life
Live Green in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is the father of two sons, Ken Jr. and Hunter. He is an avid bowler who once rolled up 300 games.
In 2003, Green reportedly jumped into a canal in Palm Beach County, Florida to rescue his German Shepherd dog, Nip, from a crocodile's jaw.
In June 2009, Green was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident when his motor home left the road. Green was in his recreational vehicle by traveling on Interstate 20 near Meridian, Mississippi, when his right front tire exploded, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and down a deep dike before crashing into a tree. The accident killed the passengers: William Green, his brother; Jeanne Hodgin, her boyfriend; and his dog, Nip. Although his lower right leg was amputated as a result of the injury suffered in the accident, Green vowed to return to competitive golf.
Green Hunter's dead boy died of a drug overdose in Dallas, Texas on January 22, 2010.
