National Life & amp; SAOC General Insurance Company (Arabic: ??????? ?????? ?????? ?; NLGIC ) is an insurance company in Oman. This is the second largest insurance by the gross premium written in the country by 2012 and is part of the Ominvest Group. In addition to its base in Oman, the company operates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
NLGIC was founded in 1983 and is a subsidiary of Oman National Investment Corp. (ONIC). This is the first insurance company in Oman. The company came into Ominvest's fold after a merger between Ominvest and ONIC in 2015.
The company offers life and general insurance products through brokers, bancassurance partners, online channels and others. In 2014, it was recognized as the Best Life Insurance Company in Oman at the World Finance Global Insurance Awards.
