Palm Beach International Raceway (formerly Moroso Motorsports Park) is a motor sport facility located west of Jupiter, Florida. The Palm Beach International Raceway Drag Strip is a quarter mile, all-concrete racing surface. PBIR is also home to the Palm Beach Driving Club, a sports fan community of beginners to IMSA racing car drivers and everything in between. In 1981, Dick Moroso, founder of Moroso Racing Parts, bought the track and named it "Moroso Motorsports Park". In 1982, Moroso spent $ 100,000 to upgrade the facility to host the opening ceremony of the Transa 1983 SCCA Series. The facility was scheduled to host the circus in 1987, but was canceled after the promoters learned of poor safety records.
The facility hosts several SCCA national and regional events. Incidents and accidents
