ÃÆ'Ã|bdel'men? em el'fÃÆ'Ã|: jed] ), better known as Dodi Fayed ( Egyptian Egyptian pronunciation: Ã, ['du: di] ; 15 April 1955 - August 31, 1997), was the son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed El Fayed. She is in a romantic relationship with Diana, Princess of Wales, with whom she died in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.

Life and career
Fayed was born in Alexandria, Egypt and is the eldest son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed El Fayed, a former Harrods department store owner. His father is also a former owner of Fulham Football Club and HÃÆ'Ã'tel Ritz Paris. Ms. Fayed is a Saudi Arabian writer Samira Khashoggi; his father was Dr Muhammad Khashoggi and brother of army merchant trader Adnan Khashoggi. Fayed was a student at CollÃÆ'ège Saint Marc before attending the Le Rosey Institute in Switzerland. He also had time to attend Sandhurst. After completing his education, he became attache at the United Arab Emirates Embassy in London.
Fayed is an executive producer of the Chariots of Fire , Breaking Glass , F/X , < i> Hook , and The Scarlet Letter . He also serves as an executive creative consultant for the television series F/X: The Series . Fayed also works for his father in Harrods marketing.

Personal life
In 1986, Fayed married Suzanne Gregard's model, but the couple divorced after eight months of marriage.
In July 1997, Fayed became romantically involved with Diana, Princess of Wales. Earlier that summer, Fayed was engaged to the American model, Kelly Fisher, and had bought a house in Malibu, California, for himself and Fisher with money from his father. Fisher later claimed that Fayed had disfigured him for Diana and announced that he had filed a contract lawsuit against him, claiming that he had "guided him emotionally to the altar and left him when they were about to arrive. love in an unfeeling manner without looking at him at all. Death
In the early hours of August 31, 1997, Diana and Fayed died in a car accident on the Pont de l'Alma underground street, in Paris. Neither Fayed nor Diana were wearing seat belts.

Fayed was initially buried at Brookwood Cemetery near Woking, Surrey, but disinterred and was buried again on Fayed estate estate in Oxted, Surrey in October 1997.
