Biden III (February 3, 1969 - May 30, 2015) is an American lawyer, officer at the Army Judge Advocate General Corps, and politicians from Wilmington, Delaware. He is the eldest of three children from the marriage of former US Vice President Joe Biden and his first wife, Neilia Biden. He served as Attorney General of Delaware, majoring in the Delaware Army National Guard, and member of the Democratic Party.

Early life and family
Biden was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the eldest son of former US Senator and Vice President Joe Biden, and his first wife, Neilia (nÃÆ' Â © e Hunter). On December 18, 1972, Biden's mother, Neilia, and Naomi's sister were killed in a car accident during Christmas shopping. Beau was less than three years old, and his brother Hunter was two years old. Both were present in the car when the accident occurred, but survived with critical wounds. Beau suffered several fractures while Hunter suffered a scar on his scalp.
According to some accounts, Beau and Hunter encourage their father to remarry, even go a step further by asking him "when will we get married." In June 1977, Biden's eight-year-old welcomed Jill Jacobs as "the second mother." His stepbrother, Ashley, was born in 1981.

Careers
Biden graduated from Archmere Academy, his father's high school alma mater, and the University of Pennsylvania, where he became a member of the Psi Upsilon fraternity. He also graduated from the Faculty of Law of Syracuse University, like his father. After graduating from law school, he worked for Justice Steven McAuliffe of the New Hampshire District Court in the United States. From 1995 to 2004, he worked at the US Department of Justice in Philadelphia, first as Policy Advisor of the Policy Development Office and later as a federal prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. In 2004, he became a partner in law firm Bifferato, Gentilotti, Biden & amp; Balick, where he worked for two years before being elected as the attorney general of Delaware.

Military services
Biden joined the military in 2003 as a member of the Delaware Army National Guard and is a Major in the Judge General Advisory Corps as part of the 261 Signal Brigade in Smyrna, Delaware.
The Biden unit was activated to be deployed to Iraq on October 3, 2008, and sent to Fort Bliss, Texas for pre-deployment training, a day after his father participated in the presidential campaign presidential debate in 2008. His father said in a note, "I do not want him to leave. But I tell you what, I do not want my grandson or my granddaughter back in 15 years, and how we go makes a big difference. "
Biden traveled to Washington, D.C., from Iraq in January 2009 for the president's inauguration and his father's vow as Vice President, then returned to Iraq. Biden received a visit at Camp Victory from his father on July 4, 2009. Biden returned from Iraq in September 2009, his duties for a year on active duty completed. Biden has announced that during his deployment he will continue to actively serve as Attorney General of Delaware in collaboration with his senior office staff in Delaware, although a member of his Biden-related unit says he has left most of his attorney general's job to the deputy so focus on his duties in Iraq. He is also posthumously presented with The Delaware Conspicuous Service Cross, which is "awarded for heroism, meritorious service and remarkable achievements."
Political career
In his first offer in the political office, Biden nominated the Attorney General of Delaware in 2006. Opponent Biden is a state veteran prosecutor and Assistant US Attorney, Ferris Wharton. Major issues in the campaign include candidate experience and proposed efforts to address sex offenders, Internet predators, senior abuse and domestic violence. Biden won the election by about five percentage points.
After his election, he appointed former Attorney General Delaware and International Judge Richard S. Gebelein as Chief Prosecutor General, and former US Attorney assistant Richard G. Andrews was appointed as State Prosecutor. As Attorney General, Biden supports and enforces stronger enrollment requirements for sexual offenders.
Joe Biden resigned from the Senate after his 2008 election to the vice president. Governor Ruth Ann Minner named former assistant Joe Biden Ted Kaufman to fill an empty seat, but Kaufman insisted that he would not be a candidate in a special election in 2010. This sparked speculation that Beau would run at that time. Biden's father stated after the announcement of Kaufman's appointment, "It's no secret that I believe my son, the Attorney General, will be a great US Senator, just as I believe he has been a great attorney general, but Beau has explained it from the moment he entered public life every office he seeks to produce himself... In October 2009, Biden declared that he was considering stepping into the Senate and that he would make a final decision in January. On January 25, Biden confirmed that he would leave the Senate to focus more on prosecuting Earl Bradley, a notorious child abuse suspect.
On November 2, 2010, he was easily re-elected for a second term as Attorney-General of Delaware, defeating candidate Delaware Independence Party Doug Campbell by a large margin.
Biden did not seek election for a third term as Attorney General in 2014. That spring, he announced his intention to run for Governor of Delaware in the 2016 election to replace Democratic Governor Jack Markell. At the time of this announcement, the cancer that will kill Biden in 2015 has been diagnosed but in remission, although this information is not public at the time.
Health and death issues
During the last few years of his life, Biden suffered from brain cancer. In May 2010, he was admitted to Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware, after complaining of headaches, numbness, and paralysis; Officials claim that he suffered a "mild stroke". Later that month, Biden was transferred to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and kept for several days observation.
In August 2013, Biden was hospitalized at MD Anderson University Cancer Center in Texas in Houston and was diagnosed with brain cancer, after experiencing what White House officials called "an episode of disorientation and weakness". The lesion was removed at that time. Biden underwent radiation and chemotherapy treatments, and his cancer remained stable. On May 20, 2015, he was admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, due to a recurrence of brain cancer. He died there 10 days later, on May 30, 2015, at the age of 46. His funeral was held at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Wilmington, Delaware, on June 6, 2015. Award and posthumous heritage
On November 4, 2015, Biden was posthumously awarded the Albert Schweitzer Leadership Award, the highest award given by the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY), for his service to mankind. Some of the 21st Century Cures Act (2016) was named the initiative "Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot" after him.
